How to use an equalizer to deal with any sound made by a computer

When listening to music, some people like to play it in a recorded state. This is why the advanced audio player ideally does not have any effect on the original audio signal.

On the other hand, some people like to deal with sound. When playing music on a computer, whether it's Mac or PC, all sounds on the software can go through the equalizer. Adjust the sound of all services and applications, including "iTunes", browser, "Spotify", "Rdio", "Pandora" and "iHeartRadio".

By the way, the sound produced by the system itself can also be processed with an equalizer. Although every software makes a good sound, it may be better to sum it up when there is no equalizer function.

The steps for setting up the equalizer are different in Mac and WIndows. Each method is described below.

In Windows's case

For Windows to install PC, different hardware configurations are a hassle. The inclusion of equalizers depends on the sound card driver. Here, the author's system is explained. If you cannot find an equalizer in your system, check to see if other drivers and audio tools that include equalizers are provided with your sound card. You can view it separately on the developer's website.

Open start > Control Panel > Sound.

Do you play any music on the computer?

The control panel of the output device for music playback opens. Click the expand tab to make the sound effects options optional.

The sound card provides a graphic equalizer similar to Mac. However, on the very ordinary HP desktops used by the author, we can only choose from some preset playback environments. To determine what sound is in a single setting, select in Direct Mode and try again.

In the case of Mac

There are many interesting free software on Mac. With "Soundflower", you can build an elaborate system through design. There is also the AU Lab provided by Apple.

Let's explain how to use Soundflower and AU Lab to apply equalizers.

1. Soundflower

Download the latest dmg file to the system. Deploy the software through the normal way of installing the software on the network.

2. AU Lab

The next thing you need is Apple's AU Lab software. Let's expand the Zip file here.

3. Mac

Maximize the volume while the headphones are connected before performing various operations. Next, do the same with the headset removed. If you do this, you can control the volume very well at a later stage.

The advantage of Soundflower is that Mac recognizes the software as "audio output". To send all sounds to Soundflower, go to system preferences > sounds on Mac, and then select Soundflower (2ch).

Go to applications > Utilities, and double-click AU Lab to open the program. Set the input to Soundflower and click Create Document.

AU Lab provides different sound effects. To set the equalizer, select AUGraphicEQ and set it to effect in Audio 1.

By default, the AU lab equalizer is set to 31 bands. This is sufficient for most uses. It's more like too thin.

You can also change from the drop-down button on the lower left to 10 band equalizers.

Now, all the sounds on the computer can be balanced according to your preference. Try to find your favorite voice!
